- Fad are Fashion of short duration that peak in popularity due to a fast rate of acceptance by the consumer but have a brief life expectancy with the tendency to become outmoded rapidly .
- Fads are typically confined to particular social groups.
- They tend to begin at lower prices are not expensive to copy or produce and therefore the market gets saturated easily.
Ex. - Fluorescent colours, ripped jeans, baggy anti - fit jeans, acid - washed denim, hugs shoulder pads, parallel souls etc.

To be a "celebrity" means all a cross the world people know your name very well.

The global effect of devaluation of the dollar, inflation rates, international trade agreements etc.
